When are wedding consultations useful?
Not every question requires handing over the entire wedding planning process. Sometimes you need to discuss one issue: the order of preparations, conflicting ideas, the next step or how to bring existing decisions together.
A consultation provides space to discuss your situation with a professional and organise the possible solutions. It can be a standalone service for couples who want to continue managing the preparations themselves.
How should you prepare for the conversation?
Choose the topic that matters most to you and give the planner the information needed to discuss it. Prepare a list of decisions already made, questions and constraints, such as your date or budget.
Before the meeting, agree its length and scope, and whether you will receive a summary or other materials. Not every consultation offer includes the same elements.
What can you take away from a consultation?
The aim is to understand your options better and decide what to do next. The planner helps you view the issue in the context of the whole event, while you choose a solution and take the next steps.
A consultation does not automatically include taking over supplier communication or carrying out the recommended tasks. If you also need those tasks completed, discuss partial planning or another individually agreed scope of support.
