What made you a wedding planner?
Change of career, seeking a new passion
Which couples do you help and what is the most important thing for you to work with them?
I mainly work with international couples, often living outside Poland. My relationship and connection with each couple always come first. We are still in touch with most of our couples, and some have become very close friends.
What did the course at Akademia Wytwórni Ślubów give you?
Above all, the course gave me solid technical foundations, which were particularly important because I came from the artistic world. I learned, step by step, how to set up and run a business, create a website and professional social media accounts, prepare an offer and a wedding budget, guide a couple through the entire process, and decide the order in which to plan each part of a wedding. The practical examples and stories from real weddings discussed during the course were also very valuable. They helped us prepare for situations that might arise during planning or on the wedding day itself. Another huge advantage was the solid collection of documents providing ready-to-use tools, along with a supplier database that made starting a business much easier. For me, it was above all an excellent foundation for creating a professional wedding planning business from an organisational, technical and practical perspective.
